highschool math question;

okay so i just got my math
placement test results back.
my high school put me
placed me at algebra I honors
as a freshman.
is this a super hard course?
will i flunk it? can i handle it?
i'm smart, but i'm not a genius. i don't
want to be putting all of my homework time
into math either, and i do other EC's too.
thankss!

No, its not hard I took Algebra II freshman year and I'm not a genius.

Most freshman here take Algebra I. Our courses move very quickly and most people were able to do the work, except those who aren't good at math.

oh okay.
thankss!

you'll be fine, the class is not hard at all.

I took Algebra II as a freshman.

At your rate you'll be taking Precalculus senior year so it's not hard considering many students take AP Calculus AB, BC and AP Statistics by their senior year.

I did Algebra I in middle school. I started with Geometry frosh year but some of my friends did Alg 2. I wanted to do Alg 2 but my school didn't know I was smart =[

algebra 1 is regular for freshmen here, a lot of kids take it in 8th, and a few take it in 7th

Algebra I was a breeze, i took it in 7th grade and seriously i didn't pay attention at all in that class. I personally just thought Algebra I was just preparation for Algebra II. Be sure you keep your notes, they come in handy later on!

I got a B in alg. 1 honors in 7th grade because of a bad teacher... You'll be fine. It's very very basic math. Wait til precalc.... then there's a problem...
