Hey all,

I know it's a little late to be worrying about this but I didn't really start caring about school until last year. I'm a junior who is currently in Algebra 2. I'm pretty good at math and my middle school teacher said I was among the best in his class and said I could definitely get into at least Geometry Honors as a freshman. However, I came on the wrong day when it was time to take the placement test and got stuck in Algebra 1. I want to go to Stanford so bad but being in lower level math has made it difficult to get into classes with math prereqs such as AP Physics, AP Comp Sci, and AP Chem which I really wanted to take. I want to major in Psychology so I'm taking AP Statistics. I just really want to get into Stanford and I don't know if this will affect my chances of getting in. So far I've taken AP World History and AP English Lang, and next year my schedule is: AP Stat, AP English Lit, Intensive Classical Greek, Psychology/Relationships, Mandarin 3 (Required, no honors program but I'm by far the best in my class), AP Biology, English 4 Honors (Taking both because I love English), and Journalism as sort of an elective. My passions are Psychology, writing, and foreign language and writing styles (by writing styles I mean Japanese, Chinese, etc. where they have a whole different alphabet/writing system as well as a new language). I'm also taking Abnormal Psychology at community college as well as Computer Science, because I've done work with Computer Science on my own since age 8. I'll be self studying AP Psychology and AP Human Geography throughout this time. Will this be enough to make up for my math? My school won't let me take math over the summer to move up.
