That's why his show can be so funny and profound at the same. he pretends to be stupid, racist, anti-semitic (he's a jew himself), anti-gay, bigot in interviewing famous figures, such Ralph Nader. many people fall into his trap and reveal themselves by actually agreeing with him.</p>

<p>well, he plays three different characters, and Ali G is just one of the characters' name. Since he got so famous for it, people just started called him with that name. his real name actually has a scottish root.</p>

To the grads and cambridge or oxford (i cant remember which) He was like you may be the best most elite minds in the world, but you will have to live with the cold hard fact that no matter how hard you work, no matter how hard you try, you will never be american! that was a good joke.</p>

<p>He's just playing a part when he is Ali G. That's not his real name or even real voice. His real name is Sacha Baron Cohen and he went to Christ's college Cambridge. I presume he might be Jewish from the name. He's a well known comedian in England.</p>
