I got on D in soph. first semester AP European History. Currently taking 4 AP classes. 200+ hours of community service...so...i applied to ALL 9 UC'S...San Diego State, Cal-State L.A., Cal-State Long Beach, Cal-State Fullerton, USC...which do I have a chance at?

You'll get into CSU's with those stats.

But the bigger UC's, like Berkeley and LA, see D's and F's as BIG eyesores. But then if you could explain it (extenuating circumstances like your teacher fell down the auditorium steps, broke their knee, and couldn't teach for like two months of your semester, etc.) without placing blames, then you got a better chance.

I even applied to riverside and merced. What about Santa Cruz? and no...my teacher was there the whole time...she didn't break anything...

You might get into one of the lower tiered UCs like riverside and merced. Well, you should, imo. But the CSUs should be fine.

I think UC Merced's going to be lenient, since it just opened. Haha...well, that eliminates one possibility of an Extenuating Circumstance...

counselor's have told me that since merced is just about to open, they r gonna accept anyone who is UC eligible, so that means near 100%.

what about Santa Cruz ?
