Hi CC Community,

I just visited LMU in LA. Unfortunately, I scheduled a tour at possibly the worst time. School was out, and the campus was dead. I really want that college feel, and I know LMU provides great career opportunities per its location. Moreover, I hear LMU is socially dead. If I want to party a little, do I have to join a frat or are they open to the LMU community as long as I know people? I am also interested in business (specifically finance) and could someone convince me why a school like LMU could provide better opportunities than schools such as USD, SMU, TCU, and SCU. Thank you and please share your experiences

My DD is a sophomore at LMU. She works hard and parties hard. I assume your male so I don’t know if you need to join a frat to participate as women are always welcome at frat parties. There is no lacking for social life at LMU.

Every school provides opportunities. You need to figure out which ones are best for you.
