If any one has any info or first hand experience of LMU's social life, i would appreciate it if you could tell me what's like. (cause i heard a couple of negative remarks about it)
thanks

Well the surrounding town is LA so there is plenty of social activities and groups out there. You need transportation though cause even though LMU is really close to downtown it's hard to get to. There is a bus that goes down to the bars sponsored by the student assoc, and there are many under-21 places too in LA.

On campus there is a good bit of students who live on campus. So there are plenty of house parties. Student body is pretty friendly but it's small. Some say it's easier to get to know people with the small size, and there are a lot of clubs. The school does clear out on weekends (like a lot of places) and athletic spirit isn't the strongest, snob alerts too. Not nearly as stuckup as UCLA I've felt.

Didn't go there personally for undergrad but had an undergrad friend and have been to several cool lmu parties :D. LMU is no Arizona State when it comes to social life, it's smaller, a little more conservative, and in a sleepier side of town. A lot of lmu's social life seems up to the person, whether they'll put forth a little effort to get to know people, join clubs, get involved etc.
