All ED CCers should stop worrying!

I really don't understand why everyone is so fearful of chances. I've read a lot of personal resumes on this site, and everyone is so well-equipped that I am literally ashamed of my own accomplishments. This might sound cliche, but I am from the Upper Midwest, and in the Upper Midwest, we tend to not have as strong of a resume as most of the East and West Coast people do.
Nevertheless, as I have gone despondent after viewing all the resumes, I have stopped worrying.
So I think everyone should just calm down and be confident that you'll do well. My resume is above average nationally, but compared to you guys, it's not even worth a penny. Still have a positive outlook, though.
So be positive!

That may be true but you Midwest people have better chances of getting in because Princeton can't just admit people from the E and W coasts. unfortunately...;(

lol let's not forget those of us down south...
whose resumes are also literally "down south."

I'm more worried about my essays for the UC's and Stanford. There's no point in worrying about Princeton anymore, except for the interview, if I even get one.

Yeah the Stanford essays are kicking my butt.
I know they're not hard.
They're just...rawwr.

I really want to just BS them, but the essays seem to be the deciding factor. I think I might just copy and paste my Princeton one and somehow tie it in to one of the topics, as that's what I'm doing for UC's and the Common App.

<3 Princeton ED for making me have to write essays early.

I actually have found that my essays for the early app weren't as good...now that i've had time to calm down a bit and work on RD apps over my 2-week-long Thanksgiving Break, my regular apps are a lot more polished. If only I could go back...

damn you have a 2 week long Thanksgiving Break?
We don't even have a week this year.
Wednesday through Sunday =(

lol positive outlook...easier said than done!
yeah OMZ ours is wed through sunday too. it be amazing to get those extra 2 days off though.

I only have thursday and friday off. T_T

lol, i didn't even bother applying to stanford b/c their application is so damn long and tedious looking O_O

lol, they are worth having PALM TREES on campus

lol, my uncle has palm trees in his front and back yards.

Front yard here ;)

Go Florida!

lol.....all because of their palm tees......tisk

Yes I am sick hearing people with 750-800 SATs complain about their "crap" scores....

Can I keep complaining about my crap GPA then? ;)

Ditto with Ernie. If you have 750+ in any subject, stop saying that subject's score is "bad" compared to others' scores.

I really think that the people that tend to post the most here on this forum (from my own following of the posts) seem to be the most qualified. So for everyone's sake, don't post up (not that I'm saying people are) "omg so worried" threads without a good reason...

And, please don't be like GrecoPtonian last year. ;)

who is grecoptonian?

You'd think that the posters would probably be less qualified, as they spend theirprecious time on CC =P

grecoptonian is hee-larious, though im scared i might end up like him ;/
