Wesleyan University is honoring alums Lin-Manuel Miranda and Thomas Kail with a four-year scholarship to “a student who demonstrates the kind of literary talent and creativity evident in the musical” (Hamilton), recognizing that a broad Liberal Arts background is the foundation necessary for allowing true original creative work to bear fruit.
