All Nighters

yeah what i'm doing now is killing my weekend with homework. I find since they are both gone, my room is pretty quiet. i can get almost all my homework done, then just the little stuff left for the week.

so how about that standup tomorrow? I don't remember any previous knowledge!

nor i.. oh well. i'll glance at my probooks tomorrow

I was always told the only upperclassman who go to the 6th floor are those that want to study, and they do not care about the 4 digs up there. So far I find that to be true.

Your risk.

I fell asleep while reading my homework, as a 4*. Fortunately, I was facing my window.

crazy people! just go to bed earlier! ;)

good point.. it's not THAT hard. yet.

I know, the funny part is I got less sleep this weekend then I do during the week.

4* year our schedule of calls included an hour less for sleep...

4 years at Camp USAFA...

NEVER pulled an all-nighter!

Of course, if I did perhaps I might have had a better GPA?

Ahhh...what's it matter? That was a LONG time ago...

i think I pulled 1 during basic...NOT FUN!!! DON'T DO IT!!!
it was when they issued us all that stuff where we had to mark it, take off all cables, and fold/put away properly. We had a SAMI the next morning, so we also had to clean and make everything perfect.
But don't worry 2013/14 I won't make you do it that quickly!

yes we will!

Do not pull all nighters during BCT! You do not need to.

...staying up a couple extra hours might be a different story....
(I did that a lot)

pshh i got my beauty rest every night, cept during 2nd BCT :(

Like my FYE instructor said, investing in that one night means giving up the next two days because that's how long it will take you to recover. Never, ever pull and all nighter unless you have nothing to do the next day- otherwise, you'll pass out in class and miss stuff. True story.
No, viper, you'll just make them change in and out of their uniforms that quickly. In the middle of the hallway in Jacks, like a certain Jaguars flight did... ;)
Also, to my wonderful peers at USAFA- if someone asks you if you want to do something and they send it wing-wide (like say "Who wants to go to the UNLV game" or something like that), please do not press "Reply To All". And please remember to check your recipient lines to make sure it's getting to the person you want, not the person you want and 4398 others. Thank you.

I went to bed about 15 minutes after taps every night. I was out until the beautiful sound of reveille in the morning, except for the trains in Jacks.

I'll come banging at your door in March. :)

yeah, we did the high-speed changes as well, in Jacks and here at the Hill. As for sleeping all night in Jacks, don't forget about Tent Guard duty! we had some crappy guards who actually believed what time the watch said. they came in around 2 probably freaking out that it was 4:30 already. not cool! you also get some sleep-walkers and talkers. that's always interesting. One guy in Demons lowcrawled around the tent before jumping to attention and screaming Schofields quote before waking up! Good times!

I really think its time for this thread to die :)

nope it won't. ;)

I was definitely a sleep-walker in BCT. Only time I have ever sleep-walked.
