can a student ID be used for air travel?

ok i just registered

yah i still haven't gotten confirmation...i guess i'll wait till friday and then call or something...

hey i know this sounds stupid, but what kind of people are invited to this multicultural weekend...more specifically, do they only invite minorities??? I got invited, and so did a bunch of my friends who are minorities...but some of my friends who are not minorities did not and they got accepted to washu too...

A student ID is acceptable if you are not yet 18. You just have to tell the people that if they give you a weird look.

yes ace it is only minorities

anyone else registered? email me! jais3n@gmail.com

ooh... i misunderstood. I'm going to the engineering student meeting the weekend before. I won't be going to the multicultural thing. I just got my planet tickets. wonders how to decipher them

so only minority acceptees are invited? i haven't confirmed yet. i was confused b/c i applied as an international and i didn't think they would be able to pay for all the internationals to go.

bump.......

There is more than one trip. Only minorities are invited to the multicultural weekend, but others are invited to the other trip.

what time are you guys getting there?

i get to the st louis airport around 1:30 in the afternoon on thursday...what about y'all

i get there at about 4:00pm

I get there at 3:35 on thursday for the multicultural one. Has anyone gotten plane tickets yet?

ok im gunna email the people that emailed me already

go and register there and let's talk!

are any of your parents going? mine aren't and i was wondering if most are.

Hi. I thought there would be a thread like this going around. I'm so excited about this! Unfortunately I am in St. Louis already, so I won't be getting the free airline travel T_T.

But has anybody heard from his/her host student? I haven't yet, and the trip is THIS weekend!

I haven't heard from my host yet and I'm wondering about that too. I'm tempted to email them about it but I'm assuming that if they really want us to contact our hosts that they'll contact us soon...

And aero56, my parents aren't going. Someone called me a couple of weeks ago about the trip and I asked her the same question. She made it seem like the majority of the people are there parentless too.
