I have a question, fellow CCers. If a school requires that you send all scores, what does that exactly mean? For example, I have taken the SAT, ACT and SAT II's. If I did not do so well on my SAT1 but did well on my ACT, and want to submit SATII's, am I required to submit by SAT along with my subjects? Seems like sort of a hairy situation.
Also, if I for example got a 590 score for math 1(It was last year; I know it sucks) but do well my Math 2 this year, will colleges that require all scores hold this score against me? A 590 is not really competitive.

Colleges might hold the 590 against you, but if you do much better on the Math II (close to 800) they’d probably be more willing to ignore the 590. I think that you have to send ALL your SAT/Subject tests, but I’m not sure about that. You may want to contact the schools you are interested and ask.

As to what a college means for requiring all scores actually varies among the all scores colleges. All such colleges require all SAT tests if you send SAT. But beyond that, you need to check each colleges rules. Examples of how they vary: Penn requires everything, all SATs, all ACTs, all subject tests. Stanford requires all SATs and all ACTs but you can send whatever subject tests you want. Yale requires either all ACTs or, alternatively, all SATs and subject tests.
