How do ppl include everything in the Common Application? I see there's only 12 blanks for activities and work experience. Is attaching resume very common? I've read a book(forgot the name though) by a former Dartmouth admission officer and she said attaching a resume seems arogant

If you read enough of these threads, you’ll see that most people don’t have over 12 activities. Anyways, the ones that aren’t as important to them, they’d omit and just list the ones that mean something to them.

I plan to attach a resume (and I think others probably do it for the same reason as me) not just because I have more than 12 (I do, but they are not that significant) but because the Common App does not give you enough room to explain your activities. Some of mine are unusual, and I really just could not explain them fully in the space provided by the Common App

^^ prototypical CC user. 2400 SAT, 36 ACT, 4.0 GPA, 12 AP class, crying over whether they’ll get into Arizona St, or calling themselves stupid for even thinking about applying to Ivies.

^12 AP Classes? I think you mean 20.

What are you talking about?!

No one mentioned scores here. No one mentioned classes. No one mentioned chances of getting into anywhere. No one asked where they should apply too. The thread is about the Common Apps EC space, and whether people typically attach a resume or not. Maybe Im completely missing something (please point it out to me if I am), but what are you even talking about?
