All UCLA transfers to live in Delta Terrace next year.

hi!
…

** D:**

Face of Dread?! What the…!

I think I’d prefer a double room, as well. If I get a triple, I want to be the first one there so I can claim the loft bed! ha ha ha.

i will be over so much you will have the face of dread.

** D:**

hahahaha, i dont want a triple :(

I’m excited regardless of what happens. It’s UCLA for crying out loud! I’ll be happy just being there!

we made it kid! we made it.
fine…ill be okay with a triple rolls eyes if i must…

so I did some research and apparently sunset village(where delta terrace is) is known as the anti-social and quiet dorms

I don’t know how I feel about this. Thoughts?

aww
hopefully it’s for the best? Go Bruins!!

Link(s), DC?

I hope that’s not true. But yeah, hopefully it’s different next year with all the Transfers together.

yeah, I understand we are going to face a much heavier course load than we faced in cc but im not trying to be a monk sitting in my room all day I want to experience UCLA to the fullest

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ucla-2012/506103-sunset-village.html

“PLAZAS - De Neve, Sunset Village
-quiet and less social due to smaller, segregated floors and buildings. sunset a bit more secluded than de neve, since a lot of traffic goes through the de neve court due to the dining hall and cut through to gayley (apartments).
-shared or private bathrooms
-room size depends, but generally slightly larger than res halls
-location: de neve is closest to campus, sunset is a farther walk than rieber (depending on where you’re coming from) but no hill to deal with.”

yeah the title of the 1st one seems interesting but everyone says it is anti-social…Looks like im going to have to change the stigma that is associated with sunset village ;)

I’m a junior transfering from a CC like many of you, and i am dissapointed with the complaining. DO YOU REALIZE UCLA IS WHERE ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!

These next few years don’t need to be perfect, they just need to be genuine!

We all got rejected out of high school, do you remember when your heart sank after getting rejected from UCLA, and probably a few other UC’s? Then in CC, we all sacrificed more than our peers and outworked the other kids in the class. Some one had to get an A in the class, why not you? But getting that acceptance letter made our success that much sweeter because of what we had to overcome to get here.

In regards to Delta Terrace being boring and lame, are you kidding me? Last time I checked, Delta Terrace will ONLY be housing incoming juniors, which means all the boring and lame kids are OUTTA here!

The past does NOT equal the future. We are the next wave. We CREATE Delta Terrace. And I don’t know about you, but I vote for creating a legendary experience.

WORK HARD! PLAY HARD!

Hoot with the owls at night, as long as you soar with the eagles in the morning!

I dunno if I want to stay in Delta, it’s pretty cool and was one of my sorta-choices but I wanted De Neve (all on the theory that I’ll get IN for Fall 2011…)

this turned out to NOT be true people are all over de neve, reiber terrace and vista, delta terrace university apartments

This is not true

Ya’ll better swipe me in at B-Caf.

@bravesucla - Why are you posting false information? Not ALL transfers will be in any one place and I doubt any hall is ALL transfers.

I was a transfer and I was in Hedrick Summit in a single and my floor ranged from 17 years old to 26 years old and had 1st years through 5th years students. It was a great mix. I was 22 but one of my best friends was 18.

Wherever you live, it is what you make it.

see you in delta, i move in tomorrow!
