<p>my school has the same rule. I eat in a teacher's classroom. Like everyone else has siad, find a classroom to eat in during lunch or go to the library and eat your lunch in one of your classes.</p>

<p>That sucks, sounds alot like a problem I had. SChools should be more concerend about actually impiortant issues. My school has this no colored liquids outside of the lunch room rule and me and my friends were compariong lunches before school and the moniter tried to take my soda away form me, out of my lunch box,even though I wasn't even consuming it, jst showing my friends the contents of my lunch. The soda wasn't even opened. I flat out refused to hand it over to her and respectfully told her to go to hell. She told the principal who din't even care and thought it was stupid. Best of luck!</p>

<p>BTW, for anyone who’s interested in what it’s like to suffer from anxiety attacks, there’s an amazing first-person account called I Don’t Want to be Crazy, by Samantha Schutz that talks about how the disorder affected her through high school and college. Some of the earlier posts here suggesting the OP get counseling or medication probably don’t realize how complex an issue it really is.</p>

<p>I agree about the library thing. If you really can’t stand it, and your school’s got a library, then go in there for lunch. The brighter side of things is, you’ll be able to get some work done.</p>

<p>Um, first get your parents and a counselor and a doctor/psychiatrist/therapist note. Meet with the VP or P and explain your situation, and then work out a compromise. </p>
<p>I think it’s dumb, but you should address a compromise - say, let me eat in the corner of the library and I’ll see a counselor - instead of get suspended, cause that would suck.</p>
<p>Ask some of your teachers if they don’t mind if you eat in their rooms! My school has the same rule and that’s what I do :)</p>

I had a similar experience. A teacher wouldn’t let me go to the bathroom even after making it very clear it was an “emergency” and we weren’t doing anything in class. So I just walked out and went. When I came back she literally threw 4 referrals in my face. So I told her to go f*** herself. It was very satisfying.</p>
<p>Heh. My school doesn’t want us eating anywhere but the lunch room, but I think it’s pretty unfair for the kids that don’t feel like being in the hot room with 600 other people screaming. Yes, the kids that are going to throw their lunch into the locker below mine so mine is then full of flies and a terrible smell should not be allowed, but my lunch goes in the garbage.</p>

<p>I must lucky… my pre-ap history teacher let me go buy lunch in the middle of class because I ddi not get to eat breakfest nor lunch-lunch I was with the AP Physics teacher. If I were you; I’d find a trusted teacher, like a really awesome one, and eat lunch with them. If not, get a parent to call the school. Do whatever is necessary, but in all honesty, you should eat lunch, you shouldnt be hiding. You need to overcome your social aniexty, its hard but you can do it.
