i have a feeling the earliest it will be is the 10th. which is still tooo far away for me lol

Is the thing on college board true about that they will get decisions out by the 15th?

yeah i mean they release decisions in mid-march, which is like the 15th. last year i believe they were all out by like the 16th the latest or something. whatever either way we’re soooo close.

Scared out of my mind my #1 hope that i get in. If your letter and your email doesnt come by the 15 you can always check out this website https://primus.nss.udel.edu/admittedsite/

use the id number that they gave you when they sent out the letter that said thanks for applying

Do they send an Email?

nope no email just mail and some people who know about the link may be able to find their decisions online but not always. or at least that’s how it went last year. idk i’m just sooo sick of waiting omg.

school is going to be sooo long this weak everyday coming home and checking the mailbox for three letters but Delaware is the most important.

it is just perfect with the brick buildings, good academics, pretty good party school, and big sports teams. its how every college should be.

i completely agree. it’s just the perfect cliche college lol, it’s exactly what i’d picture a college to look and be like. and yeah this week is going to be torture… where else are you waiting to hear from?

UMass and Stony Brook

“it’s exactly what i’d picture a college to look and be like”

samjillian - exactly what my D said! and you are right - it will be a long week!

I am between busines trips and hope the letter comes this week. I know D is anxious to find out too. She is also waiting for Binghamton and American - I don’t think those will come till close to April 1.

soccer - a lot of D’s friends heard from UMass over the past few days (although my BFF’s daughter in Boston hasn’t heard yet, as of Friday). Good luck! What is your first choice? (I already know what your first choice is.)

umass is good about scholarships. i applied EA and found out in mid-december and got money from them

UMass is my #2 behind Delaware, I will be happy going to ether one but would rather go to UDel.

Soccer, FYI my son heard from UDel on 3/13 (online) but didn’t hear from UMass until the 2nd week in April. So hang in there. And in the case of UMass, no news isn’t necessarily bad news. I honestly don’t know why UMass took so long. Everyone else we knew heard weeks before that. In the case of UDel, all heard the same time (all OOS that we knew for both UMass and UDel).

Good luck everyone!

linymom: like you, i hope my daughter hears from delaware THIS week…she will be ecstatic if she gets in.

my son ( they’re twins) got into binghamton but we havent visited yet. have you? since we both love delaware, dow do they compare?

the stress level in our house is through the roof as my son still needs to hear from his top two choices and of course the waiting on delaware is KILLING my daughter, she is so scared she wont get in. i looked today and there are only 17 other students from rhode island in the school so hopefully they might want a few more :-)

Do you really think UD decisions will be up within the week? I had always thought they were late March…I hope you are right. Will the same site that you check if you application is complete have a link to admission decisions or is there another place to look?

They should be up by friday and you should get the letter Saturday, hopefully.

jbevangelista: Yes, we have visited both Bing and Del. D absolutely loves the Del campus. The location is better too (and it’s easier to get back to LI from there than from Bing - Amtrak). We saw Binghamton after seeing SUNY Oneonta, so we liked Bing much better than that, and Bing had the nicest dorms we saw on any campus (I think the new dorms -can’t remember the names). D would love to go out of state. Will have financial decisions to make after we see where she is accepted. Each school has its academic advantages for her and I really think she’d fit in at either one. We just chatted over dinner about it. She just wants to know already! The funny thing is, I asked where in her gut she thinks she will end up and she said UConn! LOL! (she was already accepted there). So you can see that all is really up in the air! I think she said that based on where she was already accepted… don’t want to count your chickens, you know.

decisions go out in mid march. they always have. it says it on their website and if you ask anyone in admissions they will tell you the same thing. idk about this week, but i’m hoping this weekend at least. when i spoke to admissions they said decisions would not be available online so i don’t think anyone should expect an email or a definite decision on the website. i obv don’t know for sure but that’s just what they said.

does anyone know if they list the awarded merit money right away- like with the acceptance letter, or will there be a wait for that after the decisions are sent out (im OOS btw)?

Ive had full tuition from Pitt since December so waiting for UDel’s offer has been terrible… the 15th cant come fast enough!
