<p>Hey, Im A New Member On CollegeConfidential.</p>

<p>I've been reading posts..and I have a question of my own.</p>

<p>I feel as though im doomed for college.</p>

<p>i want to get into a good college [out of state].</p>

<p>here's what im working with..</p>

<p>9th grade final grades;</p>

<p>Spanish: B.English:C Conc. Physics: B Keyboarding: B</p>

<p>Algebra: B Fashion: A U.S History: C</p>

<p>P.E: B Health: C</p>

<p>10th; </p>

<p>Wood Shop; 4 A's. Business: 3 B's. 1 A. Spanish: 3 A's, 1 B.</p>

<p>Biology: 2 C's. & 2 B's. CGD: 1 C & 3 A's.</p>

<p>Geometry: A. C. D. E</p>

<p>Govt.: C. A. A.B</p>

<p>English: D.B.B.C</p>

<p>i Plan on Taking Geometry Over for a higher grade.
& i Have A 3.0 GPA Overall Average for my two years.</p>

<p>With all this said.</p>

<p>Am i doomed for college?</p>

<p>no you’re not doomed if it really is a 3.o. yous imply want to take the sAT or ACt or both and get high scores to balance it out. as well as go minimum 3.6 each quarter or semsester or whatvere to prove an upward trend in grades becasue schools like that.
before I can really chance any further answer this, what is the reason for the 3.0 GPA? and what do you plan to do to bring it up? what is the rigor of highschool classes you plan to take, what state are you from? ethnicity, state or LAC?</p>

  • I do plan on taking the SATs, Subject Test & ACTS. As well as doing the writing sections. </p>

<p>What is the reason for the 3.0 GPA?</p>

<p>I honestly messed up in some classes and in others there was no teacher and grades were wishy washy due to sub’s losing work.</p>

<p>What do you plan to do to bring it up?</p>

<p>I plan to work my tail off jr. & sr. year. No excuses.</p>
