<p>Is this worth doing? I got invited, but don't know anything about it. I had never heard of it before. It's an honor society for freshmen. Since it's on campus I'm sure it's legit, but is there really a point to it? </p>

<p>Yes, it's a good organization and there are no fees involved.</p>

<p>Avoid the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, though--that's just a scam (they charge you $75 to join and they pay back some thing like only 10% of the fees in scholarships).</p>
