Alright ya'll!

HS GPA: 2.3 (There is a reason for this, but it's a long story.)
SAT: Taking it next month, but hoping to get between 900 and 1000(the colleges I'm looking into don't require really high SAT scores)

I'm taking a semester at community college now, 4 classes. If I get all A's in the classes, I'll have a 3.25 GPA.

I'm applying to mostly state schools, but my first choice is Temple University. My second is East Stroudsburg University, Kutztown University, and my safety is Penn State Berks.
What are the chances I can get into these colleges?
I am planning on sending in my college transcript when I start to apply to colleges in the end of november.
Which transcript will have more priority over the other? The high school or college transcript?
And can the college admissions office really reject me just because I did bad in high school but proved I can do college work?

You’re going to have very little chance at Temple if you’re required to send your GPA and SAT scores. Your best bet would be to get your AA, so you dont need to send your HS GPA and SAT scores.

I suggest you focus on the community college semester properly to raise your GPA…and from which state are you?..apply to state colleges (best recommendation)

Yup, Temple has avg. gpa of around like 3.4 or 3.5. SAT Scores are also around 1700 higher. Anyways, Good Luck on your search.

Average was 3.42 and 1700 last year. It’s increasing every year.

I know I probably won’t get into Temple. But both East Stroudsburg and Kutztown are state schools, and the average HS GPA at Penn State Berks is a 2.8.
