Also true in SAT I?

I know that in the SAT II's you can miss a few or more depending on which subject you take and still get a 800.

I was in my SAT prep class the other day, and I heard that the SAT I is curved. Sometimes missing one or two on one of the sections you will still get an 800? depending on how others scored?

Also I heard to take the test during may and june because most of the smart people take it in october, november, and january. Not saying that I'm stupid, but taking it in may or june would make me look better compared to others.

Is this true...? Does it make that big of a difference?

There is a curve and you can get some wrong and still get a 800; how many depends on particular test being given.

Though some claim taking the test at one time is better than another, I have never seen any real evidence to show that is correct.

On the Math, usually you can't miss any and still get an 800, since people usually do well on that section. On the Critical Reading, in April for example, I missed two and got an 800. I'm not sure about the writing.

The "curve" for the tests is determined BEFORE anyone takes it, to make sure that the questions from various sessions are comparable. It has nothing to do with the people who take the test with you.
