Alternate list

What are the chances of getting off the alternate list?

I know a few people in acting who are choosing other schools, and maybe one in MT. So it depends how high you are on their list and what gender you are. I would guess at least 2 will probably go elsewhere. No promises though, UA is a great program and many people who get in, like myself, choose to go there. Best of luck! I hope it works out for you! :)

Thanks I am lucky to have other options just taking my time to make the right choice.

Good stuff. Where are you choosing between? :)

Acting Point Park,Tcu,Lipa in liverpool I have a audition at Guildhall in London May 10th.I also love wig and makeup design so BFA at UNCSA and Montclair with a minor in M.T.kinda liking the Montclair options. Arizona don’t no wait list M.T and Acting, why did you choose Arizona and what were your other options?

That’s awesome! Break legs! I chose Arizona for a lot of reasons. It is one of the only progams that allows you as an MT to not only get theatre credits from a top 10 theatre program, but also film credits from a top 10 film program. I have a high interest in doing both after graduation, so emerging with credits in both on my resume was a BIG draw for me. They also allow you to explore general education classes in what you wish, which interested me a lot because I love script writing as well as performance. On top of that, a professor there had been talking to me about the school for a few years and was interested in me personally, and my development as an artist; obviously you want to go where you feel people have interest invested in you, so that was a big perk as well. Finally, I love the campus, education quality, the connections I could make on the west coast, plus all the above mentioned things, and as a result, I thought it was a program that would give me the best chance of getting work in the arts after graduation (due to the more wide and well rounded resume). I am also an in-stater, so I know a few people in the program and the tuition is quite nice in comparison to large private schools. Hope that helps answer your questions. :)
