I originally had one down (Government CAS) but I heard that they won't consider you as highly if you put down an alternate school. Is that true?

Having an alternate school that is completely different from your primary choice raises suspicions. It can make it seem like you aren’t a good fit for the program and simply want to attend the university in any way you can. Make sure you would be equally happy in both your primary and alternate choice school, and be aware that the majority of applications never get reviewed by the alternate school.

I am applying ED to ILR. My alternate was CAS (for government)
