<p>My S has submitted the common app to several schools already for EA (and submitted some RD schools at the same time if their supplements were minimal). Now he is getting ready to submit for RD and has noticed a few things he wants to change/update. For the RD schools that he submitted to early, he is contacting the admissions offices for instructions on how to submit an update and resume. For the schools he has not submitted to yet he would prefer to do an alternate version (there's a typo on the first version, and a few activity descriptions got cut off).</p>
<p>One teacher submitted his recommendation online through the common app site (I think directly and not through naviance, though I'm not 100% sure of that). The other teacher and the guidance counselor snail mailed paper forms (so those are not at issue).</p>
<p>For the teacher who submitted the recommendation online, will it still be attached to S's new version of the common app if he creates an alternate version? </p>
