If i am a student who is applying to a school that offers you to put down your desired major and your an alternative major, does the school look at your alternative major and reevaluate you based on that. If you do not have the qualifications for your first major. For example, i want to apply to engineering major for one of my schools, but i do not have good enough stats for it. For my alternative major i put down a business major, which is significantly easier to get into for my school. Will the school look and possibly deny me based on my first major without reevaluating me for my second major or look at me again for my second major.
Depends upon the school. Many schools do ask for an alternate major but many also do not consider it, so you need to look up each school’s policy.
