I was just wondering if there is a good alternative to an MBA if one wants to work in business or rather, how bad is it not to have one?
For some reason I don't like the concept how I have to go back to uni when I'm around 27 and I should be earning money.

look at part time mba

For accounting, Masters in Accounting (MAcc, MS in Acc). For finance, Masters in Finance (MFin, MS in Fin). For quantitative finance, Masters in Financial Engineering (MFE). For supply chain management, Masters in Supply Chain Management (MSCM). All of these are one-year programs and can be done right out of undergrad.

Thanks giants, that’s more what I was looking for. What about a one year master of management? Who does such a program target?

Ehh… I don’t know too much about those programs, but I don’t really like the sound of them. Who is going to hire a 23-year-old kid with a “management” degree into a position where you’re actually managing people? I guess some big companies have management-track programs… I don’t know. That’s not my area.
