My dad went to Penn and I was wondering (im a junior) when Im supposed to contact the Penn admissions office for the special Alumni meeting for students of alumni parents only. Does anyone know?

When you apply your interview is just on campus instead of at a regular interviewers house... I think I'm not sure since I'm not legacy and I didn't have an interview anyway. But I believe thats what my regional admissions counselor told me.

Do they contact you for the interview on campus? Or do you have to call in and tell them that you have a legacy?

From the Penn website, Alumni, Legacy Admissions:

How can I schedule an interview?
To schedule an optional on-campus interview with the ACA, please call our office at 215-898-6888. We encourage you to contact us 4-6 weeks in advance of any preferred date. Please note, the ACA does not solicit interviews, so should you wish to interview, please phone us to schedule one.

When can I schedule an interview?
The ACA interviews begin in June, after students have completed their junior year of high school. We recommend that students schedule the interview after they have started the college search so they are better equipped to articulate their interest in Penn, and why Penn is a good match for them. We encourage that students complete their interview in accordance with application deadlines.

In answer to your original question:

The Alumni Council on Admissions (ACA) is a resource for alumni families who have children or grandchildren going through the undergraduate admissions process at Penn.

When alumni and their prospective students plan a college visit to Penn, the ACA encourages the family to attend a group information session and campus tour offered by the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

In addition, the ACA staff will be available for an informal Q&A session about legacy admissions every Monday and Friday (except University holidays) from 12:15-1:00 p.m. in the E. Craig Sweeten Alumni House, 3533 Locust Walk.
