I recently got contacted by an alumnus for an interview and I will possibly get an interview late February. If I get an interview at that point, would that interview still count towards my admission decision for regular decision?
Thanks!

I have no idea, but it probably won’t hurt! It wouldn’t reflect well on you if you were to turn down the invitation anyways. I requested an alumni interview early on but didn’t actually conduct it until a week before decisions came out (i applied EA). Some of my friends with similar stats got deferred, so if I was on the bubble the interview definitely pushed me towards acceptance. I would accept the offer. It’s a good way of showing interest, and might push your application definitely into the accepted pile!
The interview reports are supposed to be submitted by March 1st, so it will count. The interviewers schedule them when it’s convenient for them, so there is no difference between an early or late interview.
Definitely do it…it shows interest (which Case takes into account), you get a chance to tell the school about yourself not just what you are allowed to in the Common App, and you get a chance to ask questions…if you get admitted, you will have to make a decision so you want to get as much info as you can.
