I sent in the first part of my application in October, and have not yet been contacted regarding my alumni interview. Should I be worried?
You should be worried. When where you supposed to hear back from them?
I called today and asked about me having not been contacted, and the person on the phone said that there was no teacher/alumni within my region to conduct the interview so unfortunately I would be unable to have one… I then asked if that would be a disadvantage towards my status and application, and he said no, but I don’t know… D:
I definitely think there’s no need to worry since you talked to the school. Unfortunately, not every applicant is going to get interviewed :(. I was lucky enough to get interviewed. I submitted my application at the end of October, and did my interview a couple weeks later. It went great on my part, but I felt like I had to continuously keep her attention. We were at a Panera, and she literally waved to somebody walking out. I was thinking “wait…what just happened?” Anyways, I definitely had to work hard at keeping her from getting distracted…and it’s not like I was boring! We had great conversations and laughs, but it was still tough nonetheless. She even tested me quite a few times about Georgetown history…luckily I knew the answers! 
I was assigned an interviewer and he never returned my emails or calls so I contacted my local alumni chair and he hasn’t given me a new interviewer yet either. Will I be penalized for this???
