Hello there!

It went very well, and my interviewer was absolutely wonderful, very nice. This was my second interview and i have now had a total of 6. Because they don't really matter all that much in the admissions process, no body should be too worried.

Some advice: know at least something about the school. Know what kind of classes you will take at the institution, ask college specific questions in addition to the general college questions (example: for dartmouth it is very good to ask about the isolation of the college as it is very secluded), don't answer the way you think they want you to asnwer-answer how you think the answer will truly present your true nature, smile, be polite, don't be very overbearing and talk waaaaaay too much, don't say the word "like" and "um" every other word.

Also, do not give one word answers, be engaging and elaborate..give reasons, and real life examples.

Show emotion if you can. If you are pasisonate about something, show it.

DO NOT be arrogant and portray yourself as if you are smarter than the person interviewing you- no matter what, that interviewer is older, wiser, and has college experience.

Have an answer to the following question: "What makes you different/special/more worthy of entrace to this college as opossed to all the other applicant's" ---- I had this question probably on 4 of the 6 interviews.

On the whole, do not stress about this interview, it does not have very much weight in the addmissions process...but do not bomb it either, or else....

Again, my interview went very well. Dartmouth itself seems wonderful and quaint. I realize i probably have zero chance at addissions, but it is always worth a try; I would regret not applying as opposed to applying and getting rejected!

Hope this helps, and good luck to all!
