I applied for College of Arts and Sciences,
but an alumni called me asking if I wanted to do an interview.</p>
<p>Does this mean anything?</p>
<p>and this doesn't seem like an "informal meeting," because she said she wants to ask questions about me, and answer any questions I have about Cornell.</p>

<p>When I applied to A&S, I had an alumni phone interview. It was very informal. If admissions can accommodate you, you may get an in-person interview. Most people will get some form of this. All of the alumni do this because they love talking to people about Cornell. It's not bad, just be yourself and have a few questions prepared.</p>
