oh, and guess what? I failed! Turns out that during the whole freaking test, I had a huge freaking headache and so much ear pain. Oh the pain!!!

I couldn't concentrate at all and I forgot everything that I studied over for the past 2 weeks. I might have a 2...or even a 1...and biology is my strongest subject...but turns out I couldn't think straight and I put wrong answers T.T

People who maintain a D and C minus don't even study, (while I study my ass off the whole weekend), come to the AP exam and shake their ass, and then get a 3, saying "oh it was pretty easy you know?" These are the same people who have trouble in class with tests and homework, but of course, the AP EXAM is like pie (or cake, lol), for them.

I already got a 1 on AP Euro...and I was having another extremely bad day that day....

Now my question is that will top colleges reject me due to these scores? I think I did 3 or above on APUSH, not sure on AP Lit (most likely 2 or above since my essays were beast, or so i think...). One of my friends says that while they MAY not (colleges say they don't even look at them), a 1 might hurt chances....

now what do I do? I mean I will be fine with CSU and stuff, but stanford is my top choice...

How do you know how you did? From what I’ve heard colleges don’t care too much about your score on the APs. I studied so much the past 4 weeks, not hanging out with friends or family because I wanted a 4 or a 5 on the Physics AP. Needless to say, I know I bombed it, but I’m just so glad that it’s over.

Anyways, no you are not a failure. Chock it up to a headache and feeling like crap. I bet you did better than you thought. Don’t worry :]

You just stressed yourself out too much. If it makes you feel better, I only answered 61 questions. The essays were complete BS I think I got 4-5 points on each. I’d be lucky to get a 3. I can’t believe people are saying how easy it was and how they answered 99 questions and guessed on one. Don’t worry AP Bio is officially over.

My guess is you’ll go bald, get ED, become obese, contract AIDS (without getting HIV first), have your eyes turn into buttons, get disowned by your parents, get pregnant, become paralyzed from the waist-down, go blind, get mauled by a bear, and die a virgin.

On top of that, you’ve probably started the apocalypse. Thanks.

from the curves i’ve seen on here, a raw score of 50/100 for the MC could even be a 5 if you did well enough on the FRQs (got 3/4 of the points if the curve is a 60%; you’d have to get almost all of them if the curve is closer to 70%)
so you could get anything with that raw score

& AP scores aren’t a huge deal in admissions… one bad score isn’t a dealbreaker, at least. my friend got a 2 on Physics her junior year & got no rejections – her schools included Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, & Cornell. i think having a bunch of good scores can look good on an app, but one or two bad scores won’t kill you, especially if you have good ones, too.

yea but i have a 1 on euro…another 1 or 2 would look bad…fail, epix plox

and damm wut were her other stats? (if you dont mind)

oh and i just saw your last sentence lol…yea i think I did ok-good on lit and apush…but you never know…collegebaord might say “FAIL, automatic 1”

and yea i guess…As in my school are super tough to come by, especially in the honors and AP courses. Ironically though, I found honors courses to be much tougher than APs…for some reason…hha

I honestly don’t think colleges put a lot of weight into AP test scores.

I got into Penn, Duke, and Brown while only getting 2 on Environmental Science, 2 on APUSH, 2 on European History, 3 on Chemistry, and a 5 on Calc BC.

It’s the really selective schools (HYPSM) that are probably going to get picky with that category. Yale is the only school that sent me a rejection.

^ wow, congrats! you are a horrible person for not picking brown, but you’ll have fun at penn. : )

i don’t think those schools reject people on that basis anyways – i think they just have so many qualified applicants that any applicant has a lower chance no matter what their AP scores ;]
