Three of my bands (I have braces) fell off yesterday (not completely sure why), and the wires were jabbing into my gums and cheeks (have sores, and have been bleeding since last night), so I had to make an urgent trip the orthodontist.

Wouldn't have been an issue, except that I had to miss AP Bio, in which we were doing one of the "dirty dozen" today! Our teacher doesn't have time to let us make up for it, so I'll probably be watching a demonstration for it.

Am I screwed, though, for the AP exam? How good are those videos?

Should I have just let the braces alone for the day, and had them fixed tomorrow (for future reference)?

We didn't do any labs in AP Bio and I got a 5. All the labs we did were "virtual labs" in which the teacher gave us handouts with all the data and we could choose whether or not to answer the questions and turn them in for extra credit. AP Bio questions don't seem to deal too specifically with labs, so if you have common sense you'll be fine.

r u serious? one missed lab isn't going to kill you. there is a list of 20 possible labs that could show up on the ap test, and only one will show up in the essay questions. even if you don't know it, you can pretty much get 2 points just for saying to replicate the experiment so many times. last year or maybe the year before there was an essay question on apoptosis, which is mentioned in about 1 sentence in our book. the average score on that question for the ap bio classes at my school was a 2. i know someone who wrote about how he asked a girl to prom for that question. he still got a 5.

seriously dude, just relax. people perform better on tests when they are relaxed rather than worried about doing badly.
