My mom and dad both graduated high school and got accepted into college but neither of them even finished their first semester of freshman year (I’m pretty sure my mom only made it through two weeks). Even though both my parents technically went to college am I still a first generation college student?
I think you’d still be considered a first generation college student, since neither one finished the semester or earned any college credit.
