Am I a Legacy?

My grandmother went to the university of michigan when she was younger but was unable to finish her degree because of family and financial issues. Is it worth noting? Do i count as a legacy?

Thanks, God Bless

Note it if you like, but it almost certainly won’t count for anything, because

 1. It’s not a parent.
 2. She didn’t graduate.
 3. Publics just don’t weigh legacies that heavily.

No. Even if she did get her degree, usually legacies are only considered if your direct parents received their degrees from the institution. You can certainly write about her, saying that she inspired you to finish your education at UM.

okay @viphan & @PurpleTitan thank you so much! i wont list it
