Social Studies:
AICE European History [Highest History class applicable to 10th graders]

Science:
Biology Honors or Pre-Aice Chemistry

World Language:

Academic Elective:

P.S I love history and geo.

Gee thanks and a big shot out to all the people who read or viewed my post with no reply. Pathetic asf.

No need to be so rude. People don’t answer because they can’t say anything applicable - they’d much rather not post rather than say something useful.

Anyways, your classes look pretty standard. Typically there’s not a huge amount of diversity of options in high school courses, and you seem to be taking whatever would be appropriate for a high-level student. I would consider taking an easier math course if you can’t improve your math grades - there’s no point in doing poorly in a course even if it means not taking ‘the best’ one. Just keep focusing your elective classes into what you enjoy, and do well in not only what you like, but everything you do.

This looks like a solid sophomore schedule. You haven’t told us what classes you have this year (other than geometry) but as you settle on your science selection keep in mind that you ideally should get the big 3 sciences, bio, chem and physics done by graduation.

Since you’re getting a C in math right now, take the “regular” version of Algebra II. Colleges are not impressed in a higher level class if you get a C in it. Ask your math teacher if s/he thinks you can get a B in Algebra2 honors, but odds that with a C this year, his/her answer will be no, so keep the other classes and stick to Algebra 2 regular, you’ll still have a very rigorous schedule.

Mod note: not sure why this is in “hindsights and lessons learned”??

Hey I just saw this. Anyways thanks for replying and I’m sorry for being rude. Thanks for the suggestion, I will take into consideration.
Thank you again!
