Am I Competetive?

I am currently a Junior Early College student (Graduation with associates and high school diploma), I’ve taken APUSH and I am currently taking AP physics. This Year I’m taking dual credit courses while attending college as College algebra and such. senior year will follow this trend. I will be taking Calculus 1 and 2 on the college level by graduation date plus University physics and Chemistry. I currently have a 3.2 Gpa in college and high school. I’m aiming for Colorado School of mines but Texas tech is my safety for Engineering.

I am involved with my community and student body where I am a part of various organizations. I am a first-generation college student and am of Hispanic descent for what it’s worth

Texas Tech, you could probably get in if you’re in-state. If you’re out of state, probably not. At best, Tech is a match/low reach. If you’re in Texas, you’ll want to add UTSA or Texas State as safeties. The school of mines is going to be big stretch with a 3.2 GPA, especially as an early graduate.

I never thought about UTSA Thanks for the recommendation. My 3.2 GPA is projected to reach a 3.7 by the end of senior year if that may help clarify anything
