You have a very good chance because of URM and very high SAT scores. Only thing holding you back is your GPA.

Bump

Almost guaranteed to get in

@theanaconda‌ Thanks so much for replying, but to which school?

Wherever you want, I was thinking of princeton specifically tho.

Thanks!

With your stats and accomplishments, you’d have been highly competitive regularly. Black male just guarantees it (most with a 2100+ sat and normal ECs gets it, you have a 2350 and top top notch ECs).

Any other opinions

You have a great shot. I see no issues. Make sure you get great letters of Recc.

I agree - you have a great shot. Make sure your essays are strong - if you don’t get in, it will because of your essays or recommendations, not because of any deficiency in your credentials.

@sgopal2‌ @BldrDad‌ thanks I’m really trying to figure out who i want to write my letters. Tbh i don’t really have any teachers that I’m very fond of. I guess i better start getting friendly haha.

I think you have a great chance at all of the schools you’re applying to. Your GPA is a tad low, but your class rank seems to show that it’s probably just because of stricter marking at your school. I do think the URM boost is overestimated a lot at CC, but in your case, I think that it’s the icing on the cake that will help you get in (on top of your excellent ECs and test scores).

Are you a junior now?

Beyond the schools you’ve listed, i’d recommend visiting Vanderbilt, if you have not already. You are an ideal candidate for them.

Yes you are a qualified applicant. Then again, it’s Princeton and even though being a URM helps, don’t rely on it. good luck!

you should tour the campus at princeton. it’s breathtaking, especially before you apply scea

@theanaconda‌ That’s just stupid to say. Princeton has a 7.4% acceptance rate, so no most who have a 2100+ and average ECs do not get in. This is why the chance me posts on here are ridiculous. You are getting responses from people I am assume are under the age of 15 and have no college admissions experience. What a joke

For URMs yes, there will be less than 1000 blacks nationwide with a 2100+ sat. Princeton itself wants around 150. Do the math yourself. Admissions is all about numbers. They have to fill their racial quota (or they’ll get killed by the media), but they still have to keep a high median sat to keep their rankings up, so they will just admit most of the URMs with high scores. Go look through the results threads and see if you can find blacks with a 200+ who got rejected. I bet the vast majority got in.

As you’ve probably heard more often than anything here on CC, top-tier admissions is a true crapshoot, so nothing will guarantee you getting accepted anywhere as prestigious as the schools you are aiming for. That being said, you’ve got about as good of a chance as anyone can have at getting into Princeton SCEA, with your very high stats + good ECs. Hell, if people like me can get in, I’d be hard pressed to find a reason why you shouldn’t as well.
