Hi all,

You know these times, struggling to stay positive, finding everything you can to do just that. I received an email in a correspondence from Notre Dame, from the Assistant Director and this is the first paragraph:

Dear Dominique,

Thank you for your e-mail! I just reviewed your application and I was quite impressed with many of the things you have to offer to the Notre Dame community.

Now simple and silly/almost pathetic question: Is that just a common opener or would you say its an enthusiastic personal reaction to my application? :P I can't help but think that the words "quite" and "many" were not that necessary in a formal message.

I like to think my application was out of the ordinary and regardless of what this means I will feel that way until the end, but hey, I can't help but toy a little with my emotions for fun. What do you think?
