...And it was just a holiday greeting card. I was so scared to open it even though I knew the decision letter couldn't have arrived so early. Ay me.

ahahahahaha

My D got a Christmas card from ND last year AFTER she was admitted EA.

Oh? Is it a good sign then? I don't want to get my hopes up if they send cards to everyone.. it just said that they wish my family a happy holiday season and that they look forward to reviewing my application.

could cards relating to "christian" holidays be Notre Dame's hidden affirmation sign? hahaha prob. not

uhhh

We'll keep good thoughts for you and hope that this will mean good news soon! I know how nerve-wracking this is.

i got that same letter; i havent even applied yet also

I haven't gotten this yet. (I applied EA.) I hope that's not a bad sign!

It sounds like this is an entirely different tone than my D's card last year. Her card was sent out as a greeting to new admits. And this was done later in December. I agree with jpp23- hope that this means good news, but on the other hand, don't get your hopes up too high. Best wishes!

I also applied early and have not received a card - I am with emswim and hope this is not a bad sigh!

Opps - typed sign wrong - this waiting is killing me - has anyone else received a card?

It was from my regional rep, so maybe it was her little thing.
