Am I disadvantaged enough for QB's Biographical essay?

<p>Hi. I don't know if I'm disadvantaged enough for QB's Biographical Essay. I'm trying to write it and I feel so dumb and pretentious because to be honest, I'm way better off than kids who had to live in the streets or kids who were abused by their alcoholic parents or etc.</p>

<p>I guess my question is: Do you need to have circumstances such as the ones listed above to qualify for QB College Match?</p>

<p>My family is just poor. And emotionally screwed up.</p>

<p>Woahgosh, I know how you feel. I would say if you have something interesting to illustrate your poor background, focus on that. In my area, there are very few Hispanic kids like me that are in honors/AP classes, so I’m trying to write about that.</p>
