So I'm a current sophomore who's signing up for classes for next year and so far I'm planning on taking these during the first semester:
AP Literature
AP Chemistry
AP Physics C: Mechanics
Calculus III (At a local college)
Classical Applied Analysis (Same as above)
Band
I'm also going to have marching band for most of the first semester... I feel that I could handle my classes if I had nothing else, but marching band is making me nervous about time management (marching band takes up ~25 hours/week at my school)
Is this too much for one person to handle? My schedule is similar for second semester, but I won't have marching band then, so I'd only have to bear through it for half the year.

If those are classes that you enjoy and believe you will excel in, then stick with them. One of the worst things you can do is overload yourself, then burn out halfway through first semester. Colleges will be looking mainly at your grades from junior year, so be sure that you can handle all of this. If you go ahead and find that it is too much for you, don’t be afraid to lighten your load as you go. It’s not worth all that stress, trust me!

I’m a huge math and science / STEM person, which is why I’m taking 4 math/science classes in one semester. In fact, my school doesn’t even offer AP Physics, and I have to request to take it online through Stanford’s EPGY. I’m just afraid that, even though I’ll enjoy most of the classes I’ll be taking, it’ll require too much homework and studying. From what I hear, AP Chem and AP Physics are killer by themselves, let alone together.

You hear correctly.

You know yourself best, but that looks like overkill to me.

as someone who is also in marching band I understand your dilemma.

Try to plan out what you think your year will be like and if you think you will have the appropriate time to study and do homework and stuff. You know yourself best, so if you think this schedule is viable then by all means go for it!
