Am I ****ed?

So I have my Princeton Application read to go hours before the deadline. But my internet lagged like **** while I tried to finish my Brown application and the payment processor took way more than two minutes, paid for Princeton way before hand. I ended up submitting the commonapp 2 minutes late. Now my dream to attend my number one choice is severely crippled. Actually it not only screwed me for Princeton, it also messed up my application to a bunch of other ivies, but I'm posting here because I really really want to attend Princeton and work forever on the application.

I heard Princeton auto-rejects late apps, so I would like a confirmation on that and sever my last string of hope.

...If not, tell me how badly this ****s over my application on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being no damage and 10 being pretty much auto-reject.

OMGOMGOMGOMG I just saw today that Brown postponed their deadline to January 4th. FMLFML could have gotten everything in on time.

10 characters.

commonapp usually has a grace period of a few minutes up to a few hours after the deadline because they know stuff like this can happen. it depends on the school. you’re probably fine.

So is post number 1 a carefully disguised way of saying I’m ****ed?

If you’re that worried, call or email them. I’m assuming that this sort of thing is not uncommon.

The Common App is supposed to shut down once the deadline has passed - though schools allow for a grace period. So if yours went through it’s probably okay.

Just call them and find out.

if your app went through, im sure that princeton will consider it. there is no way that pton auto-rejects apps that come through a couple minutes late…
