Hey Garage,
With little exception-- as an SCS student you will be plenty busy and the best advice is that already given- try something fun or interesting-- while that opportunity is still available. Jacobo encourage you to pick something to get one of the mandatory column a, b or c GE electives done and over with…there are 100+ on that list.
Avoid anything over 300 level…100 or 200 level would be best as an incoming freshman.
You could also consider an ECE class if you have Physics credit done. Many SCS students find that Materials Science is relevant-- semiconductor stuff ahead?

[SCS Freshman Advising](SCS Freshman Advising) re-read the schedule booklet which takes you to the link within that document for the SCS program guide …listing all the electives…of which 3 out of the 8 required come from this list.

There are plenty wonderful and interesting options here…ask current students about Profs and course load…some are probably much more work than others.
