<p>Hey.. I really want to be a doctor. However I am realistic and know that it is ridiculously expensive, competitive and long. Most people who go through pre-med don't get into medical school. I really want some opinions of wether I am capable of getting admitted to a medical school. I am willing to work my butt of .. but everyone knows that sometimes that doesn't exactly work out as we plan it to be. Could you look at my high school profile and tell me your opinons please? <p>My GPA is a 93.5. Anyone know what that is on a 4.0 scale? My counselor told me that a 93-100 was a 4.0. (seems to good to be true though ) I have taken 3 APs in my junior year and I am taking 4 in my senior year. I got a 4 on US. HIST, a 4 on enviornmental and a 3 on English language. The reason why my GPA is so low is because my school calculates our 8th grade grades which I got a 70 and 75. (brought down my whole GPA ) But hopefully most colleges will recalculate the GPA. The rest of my classes were all honors except for classes like chorus and bussiness courses. I also took 3 college credits at a University. Is that good? I am also the President of Key club, SPICE and was treasurer of STAC in my school. I have a lot of voluntary experiences including being a catechism teacher, a language teacher at my local community center, and overr 230 hours in both a nursing home and a hospital. I was also involved in science research. My SATs were however 1800. I'm planning on taking the ACTs later.</p>
