Instead of condemning yourself for being an unathletic nerd, why don’t you do something about it? Take up jogging. A 14-minute-mile is pretty awful, I won’t lie, but it doesn’t mean you can’t improve. Here’s a good program to get in shape without shocking your system too much:

Unless you’ve got some health problems, you can certainly get better. As long as you’re trying to improve, no one has any right to condemn you, yourself included…

HAHA, wow… an unathletic nerd. I am an athletic nerd:
Mile Run (haven’t done it recently) - probably 9 minutes or less
Sit Ups - 90 per minute
Pull Ups - don’t even remember

Yeah, you should run more often. Considering how slow your mile is currently, you’ll improve probably improve very quickly. Don’t get discouraged if you get a stitch in your side or get out of breath, since that basically will happen to anyone who is unfit, and will disappear once you get more fit. (It still happens to me, as I have a 9 minute mile, which is still slow by most standards.) Anyway, find some way to enjoy it, or you probably won’t be motivated to continue.

Umm that’s nothing, i don’t know if it qualifies you as athletic.
I mean I’m on varsity track and my best mile time is only 6:10, which is probably one of the bottom 5 of my team of 20+.

like a three years ago, my mile run was like 18.5 min. two years ago, my mile run was 16 minutes. and last year, my most recent mile run was 13 min.
