Am I Hard On Myself?

My Current Grades Are: (But I think they suck, even I have like three more weeks until the marking period ends)

English 9 Regents 101/100
Earth Science 9 Regents 87/100
Math 9 Regents 92/100
Global History 9 Honors 92/100
Religion 9 100/100
French 9 Regents 98/100
Health 9 98/100
Gym 9 97/100

My Physical Ability Is: (But I condemn myself everyday for being an unathletic nerd)

Mile Run: 13 mins 50 sec
Sit ups: 28 per minute
Pull ups: 0

Uncorrected vision: 20/90
Corrected vision: 20/30

Instead of condemning yourself for being an unathletic nerd, why don’t you do something about it? Take up jogging. A 14-minute-mile is pretty awful, I won’t lie, but it doesn’t mean you can’t improve. Here’s a good program to get in shape without shocking your system too much:

[Cool Running :: The Couch-to-5K Running Plan](http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml)

Unless you’ve got some health problems, you can certainly get better. As long as you’re trying to improve, no one has any right to condemn you, yourself included…

HAHA, wow… an unathletic nerd. I am an athletic nerd:
Mile Run (haven’t done it recently) - probably 9 minutes or less
Sit Ups - 90 per minute
Pull Ups - don’t even remember

I don’t know what you’re doing, but they aren’t sit-ups.

Yeah, you should run more often. Considering how slow your mile is currently, you’ll improve probably improve very quickly. Don’t get discouraged if you get a stitch in your side or get out of breath, since that basically will happen to anyone who is unfit, and will disappear once you get more fit. (It still happens to me, as I have a 9 minute mile, which is still slow by most standards.) Anyway, find some way to enjoy it, or you probably won’t be motivated to continue.

If you have to ask…

Wow, are you exaggerating your mile time? Because, no offense, I am like beyond un-athletic yet I can some how do a 8-minute mile.

Are you like kind of overweight or something?

I love how you include your vision…

Umm that’s nothing, i don’t know if it qualifies you as athletic.
I mean I’m on varsity track and my best mile time is only 6:10, which is probably one of the bottom 5 of my team of 20+.

Well I am 5’1" and 100 pounds… so no.

you are not to hard on yourself i run 1 mile in 11 minutes. Though I probably could do beter if I tried harder…
ur grades are fine calmate!

@ OP: I’m assuming you’re a girl?

Yes I am a girl.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAa

Only one Honors…
What kind of CCer are you?

umm youre freshman … ?

You’re a chick. Dont worry about being athletic.

Most of my friends dont even like athletic girls. Just as long as they arent fat. lol

Well I’ve improved like three minutes every year.

Three minutes from what? What was your original time?

like a three years ago, my mile run was like 18.5 min. two years ago, my mile run was 16 minutes. and last year, my most recent mile run was 13 min.
