AM i hopeless?

<p>2.8 Gpa simple calsses
2 college courses at community college grades-B and A
32 ACT
800 math sat 2
750 Physics
700 Us history
Low income single parent home and i have two sisters who both attend college
My college essay talks about me helping my mom and working two jobs/coming home at 9 tired and not being able to maintain a GPa</p>

<p>I go to top 60 Schools in the nation</p>

<p>Also i have around 500 hours of CC
150- with local club
120-dentist office intern
50-computer company
125-care home for mentally ill
60-local church basically temple</p>

<p>Im first generation to go to college</p>

<p>Please chance me for Boston University i can get Financial aid and take loans so please dont tell me the cost</p>

<p>your SAT math 2 score is impressive, it shows ability, and with all of that CC I don’t see why you should not get into BU, especially being First Gen to college. Match.

<p>Besides your GPA, you have strong stats and EC’s. You do come from a disadvantaged background (low income), so the admissions officers will be more lenient with your GPA, but a 2.8 GPA might still be too low (like maybe 3.2 or 3.3 might be good enough for you or someone in your situation…that fact that you took simple classes might also bring you down).</p>
