<p>So the admissions office said that decisions could potentially be up today, January 2nd, so even though it's 20 minutes into the day, I logged into myPSU, only to find that my password no longer worked. When I clicked that I forgot my password, it said "error: current student"... does this mean I'm accepted? or is there some glitch in the site that decided to pick the most inconvenient time to rear its head?</p>

<p>hate to break it to you, but i've already been offered admission and the same thing happened to me today. i couldnt figure out how to log in, seeing as how i didnt recieve a new username/password with my acceptance letter. an hour or so later i tried logging in again, and it went back to how it always was.</p>

<p>plus, they were closed for break and did not make any decisions. they'll start making decisions today.</p>

<p>i appealed the altoona offer and i am being reconsider as of now because i had personal circumstances that affected my grades (ie major surgery & deaths in the family). so, since ive already been accepted to altoona, on the website it says that im a current student - but in reality, i'm waiting to hear back.</p>
<p>does that make sense? haha</p>
