I'm a beginning Junior right now (have been in school for a month) and am curious as to what you guys think my chances are thus far. I know some sections of my application are pretty weak (particularly my ECs) and if anybody could offer me some help doing so would be greatly appreciated.

Freshman GPA: 3.3

Sophomore GPA: 3.65

Junior Year: (30 days in so far)
AP Government/Politics A
Honors English A
Honors Spanish B+
Algebra 2 A
Geometry A
Chemistry B- (I did really poorly in the first test of the year and am going to be spending the rest of the year/semester trying to mitigate that)

What's set in stone for my class selection next year:
AP Euro
AP Language
AP Environmental

I took the PSAT last year before finishing Algebra 1 and starting Geometry. I had high verbal scores; however, my math score was very low because of the aforementioned issues. My overall score was a 170. I'm taking it again in a month and am planning for at least a 190 as I've prepared a great deal since last year.

Anyways, this is where it starts to fall apart:

Awards:
Honor Roll
High Honor Roll

ECs:
Work

Yep. That's it. I literally have no ECs and am now in somewhat of a crisis now that I realize that they're absolutely vital to get into the schools that I want to go to. I don't really have any interest in joining any of my school's clubs because there aren't many with people I'd be interested in spending time with or with subjects that interest me. I enjoy writing so literary magazine and the school newspaper are both possibilities.

So, my question to you guys is (along with my chances) - how can I fix this? What are some ECs that are approachable (not easy per se) that colleges would like to see an application? I know the question is painfully vague but if you could provide any help it would be greatly appreciated; I'm really stressing over this.
