Am I on the right track to be accepted to any of these colleges?

I'm only a freshman, but I am interested greatly in my future.
GPA thusfar: 3.67 (lowest grade is a 86 (Spanish I in 8th grade) 91.93 UW
My guidance counselor said it will continue to go up. (My mom recently died so my grades aren't as high as they usually are, but they are starting to level out again.) Last 2 quarters I have gotten a 94 overall avg, but the 86 in spanish I last year is kind of hurting my grade

ap/honors: None offered until next year, although my guidance counselor helped me decide my schedule until senior year. (AP Euro, AP USH, AP English, AP Chem) No maths because my school doesn't offer any, a except college level math, i'll be taking.

ECs (Not great yet): Varsity Baseball and will continue to do it until senior year. I also help at an Enrichment type program for little kids, they do math&science workshops. 90+ hours of community service. Jiu-Jitsu/Wrestling/Boxing programs outside of school I have done many tournaments and done well.

Colleges I am looking into. I have a lot of reaches, I know
NYU
Fordham (Brother went to for Undergrad)
UVa (Brother went to for Grad) (reach)
Rutgers
UPitt
Binghamton University
Syracuse
Cornell (reach, i am aware.)
Columbia (SUPER REACH, i am very aware)
BC
BU
Johns Hopkins
Stony Brook
Amherst

No need to bash on me, I'm only a freshman and I want to be informed if I'm on the right track

Sorry about your mom. That must be rough. Make sure you tell your GC to put that in your recommendation; it’ll explain lower freshman year grades.

Right now, just keep your grades up, and take the hardest courses you can. Also, try to find an EC you’re passionate about, and try to get a leadership position in it.

Also, get off CC. Come back when you’re a junior.

I’m a current senior who has been accepted and rejected by several schools. With some of these school, you just can’t afford anything but A’s. When you take AP’s, you can afford a B or two since it’s weighted, but with most of these, you kinda need to shoot for A’s. Your EC’s are good, just keep doing all your sport/academic stuff. I recommend the debate team, if your school offers it. I’m a competitive debater, and that helped me a lot. Do some work over the summer, either a job or internship (I did a summer internship at a law firm.) College is super competitive, don’t give them a reason to reject you, and a B could be a reason. Do well on your SAT, that will bring this all together. You’re on the right track, just push yourself to keep improving and you will be fine.
