Hey guys! I am about to be a Junior and I just wanted to know if I'm on the right track. My top three schools are Stanford, Berkeley and Columbia. :D

Weighted GPA: 4.6
Unweighted GPA: 3.9
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: African American
State of Residence: California, USA
Possible Majors: Biology, Human Biology, Molecular Biology

AP/Honors Courses: World History Honors, English 2 Honors, Chemistry Honors, AP Psychology

Junior Year Courses (2014-2015): English 3 Honors, Pre Calculus, Japanese 3 Honors, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Science Research

Extracurriculars: President of the Korean Pop Culture Club, CSF Member, Service Learning Leadership Member, Executive Board Member at my local volunteer center, Founder of my own website which discusses Korean Pop Culture

Sports: Intermediate Dance Team Member (2013-2014)

Planning to take the SAT in May 2015
Planning to take the ACT in April 2015

So as you can see, my "sports" and extracurricular are not the best. However, I hope my academics can make up for that fact. I'd love to hear your feedback! Thanks in advance!

The only thing I took from this was Kpop.

@Animefan1998 Yes, Kpop is awesome!!! lol do you also have any feedback? XD

I think no matter how much you do, there’s still a very tiny chance at getting accepted to Stanford or Columbia. And it’s kind of hard to even determine whether you’d get in to any of these 3 schools because you haven’t taken the SAT or ACT yet.
But don’t listen to me. I’m only an incoming Junior, too.

@Animefan1998 Thanks! That was still really helpful Good luck junior year!

Take all the rigorous courses you can at your school. Make sure you stick to honors and AP classes. Stick to a few select ECs that mean a lot to you. I don’t know how much weight being on the dance team for a year will carry haha but don’t worry too much about sports.
Make sure you have a lot of volunteer hours. And keep focusing on your classes

Those are some high reaches for college. Make sure you have some safeties. Try your best to get in, but don’t get discouraged if you don’t! You have ambition and that’s a great quality Good luck!

There’s no right track to Stanford, Columbia, and Berkeley.

I was also like you, always trying to find out the right path to fame and glory. The secret is not to look for that path. Now that I’m a senior, I finally realize that.

Do what you love and give your 100% every day. That’s the true route. Good luck.

You’re on the right track, but you’ll need to expand your college list. Keep taking challenging courses, and perform well in them. Good luck,

We share the same possible majors. <3

You should definitely take AP Biology.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! You were all really helpful :D

제시카 as your avatar?

I can’t tell who that is. ㅠㅠ

ur definitely on track. just make sure to do well on ur SAT I / SAT II / ACT

Great advice above. Random note, your hopefully strong test scores, combined with your extracurriculars and your ethnicity (it’s should be a positive boost to your application), you may be able to get into one of your top schools (again, as reiterated above, they will be tough to get into).
