Am I on the right track?

<p>Im only a sophomore but I need some encouragment and some feedback in my ECs</p>

<p>Awards so Far: </p>

<p>Summa Cum Laude on National Latin Exam
Finalist for the Michigan Mathematics Prized Competition
A bunch of Violin awards but nothing national (Winner of only one competition) and 1st divisions in both regional and state solo ensembles.
Some school awards in academic excellence and leadership</p>

<p>EC's
Concertmaster of all the orchestras at our school and secretary of orchestras
Assistant Concertmaster of our local youth orchestra
Played for an Outreach program to raise money for instruments for kids in Benton Harbor Michigan ( there was a riot here 2 years ago)
Math Team ( starting this year plan to attend in grades 10-12)
Science Olympiad ( plan to participate 10-12)
Freelance Writer for School Newspaper and Literary Magazine ( plan to attend 10-12)</p>

<p>I cant think of any more at the moment
I plan to enter the AMC contests and hopefully the Siemens Westinghouse Competition.</p>

<p>But any competitions worth pursuing? I know i dont look as bright as some of the other users on this site but any advice would be greatly appreciated</p>

<p>Ah, how our lives during our high school years are molded and controlled by those colleges we desire!</p>

<p>Getreal 3.95 Freshman year
4.0 This year
And yes most rigorous courseload available</p>

<p>your grades are top notch...no telling what your safety/reach is cuz the next 2 years will be the most important...but if you keep going in this direction its looking good :)</p>
